Biography

Carlo Cozzoli is an Italian photographer born in Milan in 1993. He started his career as a professional photographer in 2014.
In 2019 he joined the international press agency LaPresse and he has changed other agencies over the years.
During the Covid pandemic period he received numerous awards for his reportages telling sensitive aspects such as mental health.
In 2023 he founded Memora, a collective of photographers interested in documenting the history of our time, through the stories of people,
always at the center of interest. Carlo Cozzoli documents conflicts through people's stories, when start the war in Ukraine he collaborated with several newspapers (WallStreet Journal, La Stampa, l'Espresso, Life Gate, La Repubblica, Die Zenit, Sky News), Carlo Cozzoli in 2024 had the opportunity to document the civil war in Myanmar, one of the most inaccessible places on the planet, following the stories of young Burmese people fighting against the military dictatorship.
In Italy, Carlo continues his photographic research and through Memora creates exhibitions and projects that spread the reportage and stories. 

In 2025 he made a reportage in Nigeria on the new wave of terrorism that is engulfing the country.
